Anime Origins Unit Tier List

This page ranks launch units for Anime Origins on Roblox. Letter grades describe how hard a name carries Story Mode, Infinite Mode, and Raids after the 14 August 2026 release, not how rare the summon animation looks. Secret rarity helps, but a Mythic farm unit can still be the difference between upgrading on time and leaking the boss. Treat the table as an early-meta read, not a forever ranking. Kits below match current published passives; Shinoru stays marked unknown because launch notes still have almost nothing on that kit.

Cross-check passives before you feed EXP. Secret kits live on Secret units. Mythic kits live on Mythic units. Legendary and Epic kits live on Legendary and Epic units. After you pick a carry, copy a lane plan from team builds instead of placing five damage dealers and hoping cash appears.

S+ — Secret carries you build around

Madara (Edo Tensei) sits at the top of launch AOE. Heaven’s Pressure drops a Sosano Blade every five attacks for 75 percent damage in an area and applies Calamity, which detonates a share of the damage Madara dealt while the mark was up. Sosano time starts at 20 seconds and grows to 180 seconds as you kill normals, mini-bosses, and bosses. Ribcage gives a 50 percent chance to block incoming crowd control. Heaven Splitter is the panic button: 500 percent damage at triple range. Put Immortal or Ascendant here if you win the pity roll.

Cursed Lover (Pure Love) is the flexible Secret. Lingering Queen’s Heads fire mini Love Beams, Copy stores up to four active abilities from allies, and Love Beam itself hits five times along a line for 300 percent total. In online co-op, Copy becomes a second kit: borrow a stun, a slash, or a farm active depending on who else placed. That is why this unit shares S+ with raw damage Secrets instead of waiting for a dedicated support tier.

Valcrad (Unleashed) is the boss Secret. Third Eye adds crit chance and stacks range on crits. Bloodthirst scales against bleeding targets. Coffin Trap stuns a boss for 7 seconds with an 18 second shared cooldown, once per boss. Restriction Release feeds ghouls as kills accrue. If your lobby dies to Raid bosses rather than trash waves, Valcrad out-values a second Madara.

Full numbers and ability order are on Secret units. Do not bench one S+ name just because you pulled another; they cover different failure modes.

S and A — Mythic core plus the farm slot

Goju (Honored One) brings Infinity, which nullifies attacks that reach the unit, and Infinity Expansion, which slows enemies that linger in range. That is lane insurance for Infinite Mode as much as a damage stat. Noroto (Linked) ramps into Nine-Tails Cloak for a timed burst of damage, cooldown, and range, then fires Tailed Beast Barrage while cloaked. Both sit in S because they clear without Secret luck, but they still want a farm neighbor.

Bluma (Data Analyst) is the A-tier farm you keep after Secrets arrive. Training Data converts kills into wave-start income from 5 percent up to 30 percent. Replacing Bluma with a fourth damage unit is how lobbies stall on upgrade gold. Tranko is the dense-wave Legendary: plus 15 percent damage and minus 15 percent cooldown when five or more enemies are in range. That is an A-tier Story sweeper, not a Raid boss specialist.

B and C — fillers, unknowns, and refunds

Itsoda stacks range while not attacking and converts that range into damage, so the unit wants breathing room between packs. Kingo adds 10 percent magic damage, a simple but honest bump. Neli rolls weak-point hits for 20 percent extra. All three are fine placeholders until a Secret or Mythic lands. Shinoru is B with an asterisk: launch data is still thin, so do not spend Immortal pity here.

Leorio is C on a damage chart and useful on a cash chart. Golden Refund has a 10 percent chance to return 15 percent of an upgrade, and only one nearby Leorio can roll that chance. Place it, take the refunds, then sell it once Bluma and a real carry are funded. Details sit on Legendary and Epic units.

How to use the list without over-feeding

Feed EXP to S+ and S first. Put income traits on Bluma, damage traits on Madara, Valcrad, or Cursed Lover, and stop rolling on Leorio. If your only high rarity is Goju, that is still an S-tier start: pair it with Bluma or Leorio, then push Story Mode for evolution materials instead of rerolling the account.

Copy a full lane from team builds once two of these names are placed. A tier letter does not tell you whether the unit should sit on a bend, a straight, or a boss entrance.

If a later banner prints a cheaper Secret with cleaner AOE, Madara can drop a half-step without this page pretending the August list was eternal. Until that patch lands, S+ still means the units that win public lobbies when your Mythics are underleveled and your farm slot is the only reason upgrades continue.
