Anime Origins Tier List Hub
Launch rankings for units, traits, and copyable team comps.
Anime Origins launched on Roblox on 14 August 2026 as an online co-op tower defense from Origins Project. This hub is the ranking desk for that live meta: which units carry public lobbies, which traits deserve Trait Rerolls, and which team shapes survive Story Mode, Infinite Mode, and Raids. Treat every letter grade as an early-meta snapshot, not a finished gospel. Banner luck, evolution materials, and the first balance patch will move names faster than a static chart can.
Read the lists in this order. Start with the unit tier list so you know whether your Secret or Mythic is a carry, a farm slot, or a placeholder. Cross-check kits on the units hub before you dump Gems into a name you cannot place. Then open the trait tier list and decide whether the unit is worth Immortal pity or should keep a cheap income roll. Finish on team builds so the lobby has cash, crowd control, and a boss answer instead of five copies of the same damage dealer.
How these grades are scored
Ranks weigh clear speed, upgrade cost, range coverage, and mode flexibility. A unit that melts Story waves but cannot stun a Raid boss does not automatically sit in S+. A farm unit that never kills the boss can still be A if the rest of the board cannot pay for upgrades without it. Online co-op (up to 22 players, free private servers) changes the math: one Immortal trait per team means you do not stack the same Secret six times and call it a comp.
S+ means the unit or trait still wins when the rest of the account is behind. S means a reliable core once fed EXP. A is a specialist you keep on purpose. B is usable filler or incomplete launch data. C is economy-only or a reroll target. We do not publish an F row at launch because even a weak Epic can hold a lane for one chapter if you refuse to over-upgrade it.
What belongs on each sub-page
The unit tier list tables Secret through Epic names from Madara (Edo Tensei) down to Leorio. Use it when a summon lands and you need a yes-or-no on feeding. The trait tier list lists every published roll chance, including Immortal’s one-per-team lock and Overseer pity. Use it before you tap Reroll on a keeper. Team builds turns those grades into beginner, farm, boss, and DoT lineups you can copy into Story, Infinite, or Raid lobbies.
If you are still unlocking the Codes button, claim launch rewards first, then come back. Rankings assume you have at least one damage Mythic or Secret and one income slot. A brand-new board with only Epics should follow the beginner build instead of chasing S+ screenshots.
How often this hub will move
Launch week numbers came from public kits and early clears, not a year of tournament vods. Shinoru still has thin published data, so that row is a confidence warning, not a hidden buff. When Origins Project ships a new banner or nerfs Sosano uptime, the unit page moves first, then this hub’s summary. Discord remains the live news desk because there is no official Trello board.
Use the three lists as a loop, not a scoreboard. Pick a carry, park a farm slot beside it, and only spend Trait Rerolls after that carry survives a full Story chapter. A perfect DoT screenshot cannot save a lobby that still cannot pay for the next upgrade.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Is this Anime Origins tier list final?
No. It is an early-meta ranking after the 14 August 2026 launch. Recheck the [unit tier list](/tier-list/units/) after banners and balance notes.
Should I rank units or traits first?
Rank the unit first, then the trait. A C-tier Epic with Immortal still loses to a Secret with Ace. See the [trait tier list](/tier-list/traits/) for keep rules.
Do these grades assume online co-op?
Yes. Anime Origins is online co-op on Roblox. Builds assume shared Immortal limits and extra farm slots from teammates, not split-screen-only play.
Where do I copy a full team?
Open [team builds](/tier-list/builds/) for beginner, farm, boss, and DoT comps, then confirm passives on the [units hub](/players/).
