Anime Origins Raids Guide
Farm evolution parts with a focused party. The 22-player cap is a ceiling, not a strategy.
Raids are the material mode in Anime Origins. Story teaches the path and drips common parts. Infinite tests whether your income still works. Raids exist so you can finish an evolve panel without hoping a random Story boss drops the last piece.
Walk in with a list. Open How to Evolve, read the unit’s material lines, and queue the Raid that matches. A raid with no list is just a harder Infinite with extra loading.
What you are farming
Evolution materials, not wave count. Leave when the bag has the set, even if the group wants “one more for fun.” Fun is Infinite Mode. Raids are a pipeline: parts in, evolved unit out, then you climb again.
Boss-focused kits matter more here than in early Story. Valcrad’s coffin is a 7-second stun the first time a boss walks the trap. Goju’s slow holds a packed path. Madara’s Calamity and Heaven Splitter delete a phase if you saved the active. Cursed Lover can copy a teammate’s active and fire Love Beam through the lane. Bring the unit you are evolving if it already functions. Bring a finished carry if the evolve target is still a brick.
Bluma still belongs in a Raid if the script has enough waves for Training Data to matter. A three-minute burst boss with no trash may not pay her off. Read the encounter. If cash is tight, she stays. If the boss is the whole map, a second damage name may be correct.
Party size and online co-op
The experience caps at 22 players. That number is a lobby limit, not a raid plan. Most clean clears happen in a smaller group that can hear each other: a duo, a trio, a party that already ran Story together. Extra players add extra farms, extra Immortal arguments, and extra people upgrading the wrong unit.
Online co-op is live and private servers are free. Use a private server when you have a fixed group and a material target. Use a public raid when you need a fill and you are willing to watch the first wave before you place. If four strangers all drop farm units, income does not quadruple. The lane just gets worse.
Assign jobs. One farm. One boss. One leak patrol. If someone already placed Bluma, you place damage. If someone already has Immortal on a carry, you do not place a second Immortal unit. The trait is one per team.
Building the evolution pipeline
A healthy account loops like this: Story until the team is stable, Raid until the material set is complete, evolve and feed, then Story or Infinite to prove the new form. Skipping the prove step is how people raid for a second unit while the first evolved form is still unleveled.
Do not raid underleveled because a friend is carrying. You will misplace, spend their cash tempo, and still not know how to run the encounter later. If you cannot clear the matching Story chapter, you are not ready for that Raid’s boss.
Shinoru’s public kit is still thin at launch. Do not lock a whole raid night to her parts until you can read the evolved form. Farm the carry you can describe.
Practical raid habits
Check codes before a long farm night. A Trait Reroll or Gem drop does not replace materials, but it may change which unit you should be farming for. Then mute the urge to summon mid-session. Raids are for the bag, not the banner.
WASD gets you to the pad. Left Mouse Button wins the encounter. If you are running around looking at other people’s skins during a boss cast, you are not upgrading.
After a wipe, change one thing: placement count, farm location, or who owns the boss. Changing all three teaches nothing. After a clear, check the bag before you requeue. If the set is done, evolve. The group can run the next person’s list. That is what a pipeline looks like in a party of friends.
There is no official Trello for raid tables. Origins Project posts encounter notes and unit stats in Discord. When a material name in the evolve panel does not match a wiki line, trust the panel and the official Discord. This page stays about party size, jobs, and why you came: parts for a unit you will still place next week.
A raid night that ends with one evolved carry is a success. A raid night that ends with four half-full bags and a new banner pull is a social event. Both are fine if you name which one you wanted before you queued. The mode itself only pays the first one.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What do Anime Origins Raids drop?
Evolution materials, especially the rarer parts a Story clear may not finish. Check the evolve panel first so you queue the encounter that drops the missing piece.
How many players should I take into a Raid?
Fewer than the 22-player cap in most cases. A duo or trio that assigns farm, boss, and leak jobs usually clears cleaner than a full public lobby.
Can I raid with friends online?
Yes. Online co-op is live and private servers are free. Use a private server for a fixed material list and a public fill only when you need extra damage.
Should I raid before I evolve anyone?
Raid when you have a keeper and a material list. If you do not know which unit you will place next week, stay in Story and keep feeding EXP.
Where do raid notes get posted?
Official Discord information channels. There is no Trello board. When a drop table changes, Discord and the in-game evolve panel beat any outdated page.
